Pathway Nights

Pathway Nights are monthly gatherings designed to help us grow as apprentices of Jesus through community, teaching, and practice. Together, we learn to live like Jesus in our everyday lives.

They take place on the first Wednesday of each month, from 5:15 to 7:30 pm, beginning with a shared meal and designed for the whole family.

Once a month, we gather for an evening designed around formation and practice, where we grow together as apprentices of Jesus through:

1. Authentic community around the table
2. Focused teaching on a specific aspect of following Jesus
3. Experiential training that helps us put faith into practice

FAQ

Here's a list of questions we regularly get about Pathway Nights. If you still have questions, you can email us at hello@thejourney.org
What’s the difference between Sunday mornings and Pathway Nights?

Sunday mornings are a time for our whole church to gather for worship, teaching, and community. Pathway Nights are designed to go deeper in formation and training. These evenings provide space for hands-on experiences, intentional discipleship, and spiritual practices that extend what we learn beyond Sunday.

Can someone new or outside the church attend?

Absolutely. While these nights are designed with our church family in mind, they are open to anyone curious about faith, spiritual formation, or the way of Jesus. It’s a great entry point for someone exploring what it means to follow Him.

What do you have for students?

Middle and high school students eat together in The Annex at 5:15 pm and participate in the main teaching and practice time. We are continuing to develop student-specific opportunities for deeper engagement.

What do you have for kids?

Journey Kids is offered during each Pathway Night for children from birth through 5th grade. Kids engage in their own version of the night’s theme through story, worship, and hands-on activities.

Does it cost anything?

No. Pathway Nights are free to attend. A simple meal is provided, and while a small suggested donation helps offset food costs, we never want cost to prevent anyone from coming.
