1. What thoughts arise when you hear the word “Holy?”
2. What does it mean to be sober-minded?Can you give an example of a time when you exhibited sober-mindedness? Can you think of a time when you didn’t?
3. Remember, holy means to be set apart. How does the language of “be holy as I am holy” hit you? How does being holy manifest itself in your life? In your home? In your relationships, neighborhoods, co-workers, etc?
4. In what ways do you live counter-culturally for the sake of the gospel? In what ways would you want to live counter-culturally for the sake of the gospel? How can our community group help each other to live counter-culturally?
