What do you believe about discipling
and teaching students?
The heart behind our ministry is to first and foremost teach our students about the sacrifice Jesus made for them and the abounding love that He has for His children. Once they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we continue to disciple and walk alongside our students as they mature in their faith.
With the Spirit doing the heavy lifting, we then encourage and equip our students to become disciple-makers in their homes, schools, and communities. We also partner with parents and families so that they can continue to sharpen their students and be the primary spiritual leaders.
What programs do you offer?
Our leaders meet with students in our youth building each week, and we also strive to disciple them on a daily basis. We offer Journey Students on Sunday mornings for 6th-8th graders during our 10:45 am service. Please drop them off at The Annex on the lower level of our parking lot.
High school students (9th-12th grade) meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 pm during the school year in The Annex. For summer gathering details, follow @journeystudents_WC on Instagram. Our time with middle and high school students consists of games, fellowship, worship, Bible study, and small group discussion.
We believe that we're all called to do the work of ministry, so through our weekly meetings and daily interactions with students, we seek to help them grow in their love for God and their understanding of His purpose for them.
